Short version: Chorus is local-first. Your chores and scores live on your device. We don’t run ads, and we never sell your data. This page is written in plain English on purpose.

The website (this site)

• Waitlist email. If you join the beta, we store your email for one reason: to tell you when it’s ready. That’s it.
• Analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (PostHog, EU region) to count visits and see which pages work. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles — which is why you won’t see a cookie banner.

The app

• On your own? No account, no sign-up. The app works offline with an anonymous device identifier.
• In a shared household? Your household’s members, chores and logged activity sync to our server so everyone sees the same live board. That’s the minimum needed to make multiplayer work — nothing more.
• No ads. No data sale. No third-party trackers in the app.

Your controls

• Leave a household at any time from the app’s settings.
• Delete your data — see deleting your account & data.
